All admissions will be located at the designated entrance of the tournament facility.
Re-entry is allowed on the same day only.
Cash or Credit/Debit Cards are the only forms of payment accepted.
All coaches will need to sign in on the first day of the tournament and receive a coach’s pass. You
will be given two (2) coaches' passes and one (1) club director's pass. It is your responsibility to
keep up with your passes. If you can’t present a pass at the gate you will be required to pay. You will need to check in with the tournament director on site.
You must turn in your official roster for the event and your liability waivers once you register.
Only the head coach needs to be present.
The rules of play will be the National Federation of High School Basketball, except where amended by Beat the Buzzer.
Schedule will be posted the Wednesday before the tournament weekend.
Results will be updated at the end of each game.
Other Questions
Each team must carry with them for the duration of the tournament proof of the grade documentation for
each player on his or her team. Failure to provide such documentation may result in player or team
disqualification. Acceptable documentation includes the following: copy of current grade card, copy of
school letterhead stating the athlete's current grade signed by the principal of the athlete’s school, and
any other legalized document from the athlete's school stating the current grade or athlete’s National
Sports ID w/Grade verification.
A player can only appear on ONE (1) active/in-use game roster at a time.
Example: Team A 6th & Team B 6th have games that play at the same time or overlapping times and Mary typically plays on both teams. Mary must decide which game she will play in as she cannot be listed on both rosters.
All Protests carry a fee of $150.00 cash.
If the decision is found in favor of the team that protests, a refund of the full fee will be provided.

Players, coaches, and spectators’ conduct should be above reproach, on and off the court. Misbehavior
or misconduct may result in disqualification from the tournament. Coaches listed on the official team
roster are responsible for the conduct of their players and any damages incurred to the facilities used by
the players.
Please bring your own warm-up balls. BEAT THE BUZZER is not responsible for any lost equipment.
Game balls will be provided by the home team.
BEAT THE BUZZER will be responsible for timekeeping, recording of scores and individual/team
fouls. Teams MAY NOT assist in BEAT THE BUZZER duties as outlined above.
Teams will be responsible for keeping all other stats within their team’s scorebook.
7 & Under Division
An athlete can be no older than 7 on or before August 31, 2024
8 & Under Division
An athlete can be no older than 8 on or before August 31, 2024
9 & Under Division
An athlete can be no older than 9 on or before August 31, 2024
10 & Under Division
An athlete can be no older than 10 on or before August 31, 2024
11 & Under Division

12 & Under Division

Grade Policy Example: An athlete who is in the 5th Grade as of October 1, 2023, and who
is no older than 12 on or before August 31, 2024, is eligible to compete in the 11U/5th
grade division.
2nd - 4th Grade: Two 20-minute running clock halves (stops last two minutes of second half)
5th Grade: Two 13-minute halves (Stop Clock)
6th Grade: Two 14-minute halves (Stop Clock)
7th Grade & Up: Two 15-minute halves (Stop Clock)
Two full timeouts are permitted per half.
Each player is allowed 6 fouls.
The 10th team foul will result in a 2-shot bonus. (No 1 & 1)
If a game ends in a tie, a 2-minute overtime period is implemented.
A second overtime period will result in a sudden death, where the first basket or free throw
wins.
The clock will run only in the second half when a team is up by 20 points. The clock only stops if the score is under 15 points or if the losing coach asks that the clock not run.
If a team leads by 30 points with less than 2 minutes remaining, the game will be stopped.
If a player or coach is ejected, they must leave the building for the remainder of that game.
